This duplex apartment is ideal for families and is only a stone’s throw from the beach and many upmarket wine bars, eateries, cafés and shops in this popular seaside town. The fantastic beaches, popular with surfers and holidaymakers, are also just a short walk away, and the hidden fish restaurants along the beach are a delight. You can walk along to North Shields, home to the Tall Ships Race and bustling working harbour full of restaurants, or in the other direction to Whitley Bay, where the beautiful dining and leisure centre, Spanish City, has been fully regenerated and has a relaxing champagne bar and events. The promenade area that stretches along this bit of coastline has been totally modernised. With plenty of places to stop off for a coffee or a gin and tonic, this is a gorgeous place to stroll along in the evening, whatever the weather.
