One of two holiday cottages next to a former farmhouse, the owners home, at the end of a private driveway. As the name suggests, it is a conversion of former stables and a workshop, and has far reaching views at the front of the Clwydian hills. In a rural location but close to major road networks, we are approximately 1 mile from the centre of Mold, the nearest pub/restaurant is half a mile away. Chester is half an hour’s drive away, Liverpool about 40 minutes away, Manchester and the Snowdonia National Park an hour or so away. Mold has a good range of shops and cafes, a street market twice weekly, a theatre and a number of excellent restaurants
This property is contemporary in style while retaining some original features, and is furnished to a high standard. Downstairs is open plan with a large comfortable sofa, log burning stove and French windows to make the most of the views. Wifi is available, and there is a television in the main bedroom as well as downstairs. The modern kitchen is equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher, and a washing machine is in the utility room. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms (one with ensuite shower room), the two larger bedrooms have oak king size beds with high quality mattresses, the 3rd bedroom has two single beds. All bed linen is supplied. The bathroom has a bath and a shower, towels are supplied. Outside are large gardens with lovely views and a small climbing frame and swing and garden toys for small children. There is a utility area to the rear and there is plenty of space to park.
