Enjoy a stay in this bright and airy renovated cottage, ideal for a family of four and within close proximity to the family-friendly attractions of East Sussex. The stylish cottage is flooded with light thanks to large windows, and the property maintains a nautical theme in its decor and soft furnishings throughout.

The contemporary kitchen is a delightful space to feed a group of hungry mouths, and the family can choose to sit down and eat in the dining area or on the enclosed private patio. To the front of the house, you’ll find a cosy living room with an original fireplace, a great deal of sofa space and TV, ideal for resting in at the end of a long day. On the first floor you’ll find a spacious king-size bedroom, perfect for mum and dad, and a similarly generous twin bedroom.

With a 500 metre-walk to the beach, you won’t have to worry about venturing too far to see the sea. On the way, you can stop off at the well-known water sports centre and sign up for some sailing, windsurfing and kayaking lessons, before venturing into the beautiful Princes Park, which boasts glorious rose gardens and a boating lake. After a day of outdoor fun, enjoy the 2-mile walk up to the bustling Sovereign Harbour Marina, where you’ll find a multiplex cinema showing all the latest movies and a bunch of popular family-friendly restaurants. You’ll also want to enjoy a day exploring Eastbourne’s town centre (1 mile), which is home to a wide range of shops and eateries, a contemporary art gallery and a beloved Victorian pier. Finally, no trip to the South Downs is complete without a trip to the iconic rural location of Beachy Head (5 miles).
