Bradford Cottage, BA15 2RB
This quaint stone cottage has 14th Century origins and has thick stone walls and flagged floors. The stone floor still has the axe marks where wood was chopped to feed the fires.
The painted wooden front door opens from the Courtyard into the main living area. There is a cosy corner suite tucked under the stairs facing the original bread oven which now houses the plasma TV. The central fireplace has an efficient wood burning stove and the far right oven was formerly used for smoking meat and fish. It is now decorated with shimmering tea lights and stores logs for the fire. In front of this is an extendable oak table and 4 chairs for dining. There is an antique jewelery safe, now used as an occasional table and a vintage arm chair. There is a pretty lamp and a large mirror above the sofa.
